Overview: The lesson concept was to create a self-portrait, with exaggerated facial features, by using mixed media to draw and paint on recyclable plastic to-go food container as a canvas. Student were introduce artwowrks by artists such as Columbian painter Fernando Botero, Italian-Jewish painter Amedeo Modigliani, Egyptian art, Javanese art, and caricatures pictures used exaggeration in their artwork.
